Philadelphia Bar: Leading Mindfully
Leading Mindfully
Business Law Section Mindfulness Series
Join us for the third program in the Business Law Section Mindfulness series. Building on the Introduction to Mindfulness and Mindful Decision-Making CLE programs, this program explores the fundamental qualities of mindful leadership and how those qualities relate to legal practice and the various leadership roles lawyers hold.
The program will highlight the seven ingredients of mindful leadership and their application. The discussion will provide a framework for becoming a successful leader by being physically balanced, emotionally connected and mentally focused and ethical. Guided by a faculty with backgrounds in leadership and mindfulness and their application in law and business, this interactive program will include exercises you can utilize and practice to incorporate mindfulness into your professional roles that enable you to become more effective leaders.
In this program, faculty will examine:
How the application of the ideals of mindfulness work in the reality of a lawyer's day-to-day practice
How one can overcome leadership challenges in a competitive environment or with adversarial relationships using the techniques discussed.
Allow mindfulness to be an everyday tool to enable you to be a better leader in your firm, company or other leadership positions.
